Save your clothes: our effective solutions against bleach stains

Tip n°1: neutralize the stain gently

When a garment is stained by bleach, the objective is above all to stop its action. Some substances, used carefully, can neutralize its effects and prevent the area from spreading.

All you have to do is prepare a mild solution based on warm water and a suitable neutralizer, such as sodium thiosulfate, available in pharmacies. Apply the mixture directly to the stain, without rubbing, and leave it on for a few minutes. The fabric is then rinsed thoroughly with cold water before machine washing adapted to the material.

This method is especially popular for light or white clothing, as it helps to even out the appearance of the fabric.

Tip n°2: white vinegar, an ally of laundry

Essential in many homes, white vinegar is also an excellent ally for laundry care. On a recent bleach stain, it can help fade marks and improve the appearance of the textile.
