These are not alarming symptoms or obvious signs that could prompt you to seek medical attention. These are slow and gentle transformations often mistaken for normal aging. Understanding them is not about generating fear, but rather about allowing a more conscious, dignified and human farewell, both for the person who is going through this stage and for those who accompany them.
1. Gradual decrease in appetite
One of the most common and least understood signs is the gradual loss of appetite. It doesn't happen suddenly. Portions become smaller, favorite foods cease to arouse interest, and eating becomes a mechanical act rather than a necessity.
This change does not always indicate a specific disease. The metabolism slows down, the taste becomes less pronounced, and the body begins to need less energy. 2. Deep fatigue that does not improve with rest
This is not ordinary fatigue. It is a persistent fatigue that persists even after many hours of sleep. Every movement requires a lot of effort, and the body seems to get heavier with each passing day.
