Auchan is going to close a dozen stores, is yours one of them?

On November 5, the Auchan group announced the closure of a dozen stores, four of which are already officially known. We take stock of this important social plan.

The Auchan group made a sensational announcement on Tuesday, November 5, that a dozen of its French stores would close: 3 hypermarkets, 1 supermarket and 6 ultra-local stores... All formats are concerned. The objective is to react to points of sale that are no longer profitable, in particular because of their too large surface area. There will therefore be an Auchan in Clermont-Ferrand Nord (Puy-de-Dôme), another in Woippy (Moselle), one in Bar-le-Duc (Meuse) and one in Aurillac (in Cantal) which will close down. As for the six other Auchans that could suffer the same fate, no indication has been given of their whereabouts, reports the Huffington Post.
